Just want to say ! I love my brave guinea pig !

Some of you may have seen my post in the health care section about my little princess Kizzys lump. She went to the vets today to have it looked at even though it wasnt causing any problems it was still there. The lovely vet had a feel of it and got a needle to get some of the fluid out. My little baby was so brave and didnt move from being snuggled up to me. The vet says to just leave the cyst and it might need draining again but thats just a wait and see thing. Then i asked her if she wouldnt mind quickly clipping her little foot spur bcos i couldnt get any1 to hold my little wriggler whilst i did it. She had an awful start in life ( her first 8 months in fact ) so she has trust issues with anyone but mummy. She did it no problems and out we went .

So up to the counter with wad of cash that id been saving for her to come-

£15 please

Nearly fell over with how good it was
But thought :x they may have it wrong

Glad the vets wasn't too expensive. Mine seem quite reasonable so far too.

Wonderful news! I'm so glad it was only a silly litle lump and nothing dangerous. Very brave girl too, I hope she got to pick a sticker!

I remember my last vet visit all too well... cost me almost 200 pounds and that still couldn't save Freja...

When three of my girls had to go to vet for mange, they were so brave too. They all needed injections, and one needed two, and the vet only charged me €10, saying that "guinea pigs are the low cost pet"
