hi peeps ive just weighed my piggies coco & gizmo there both 5 month old they weigh at the moment 800grams is this ok or do you all think its a bit on the low side
It sounds OK - do not worry about the weight; your boys still have up to 10 months time to grow into their adult bodies!
Most guinea pigs will stop once they have reached their full potential. You will find that after 6 months old, the growth will start to slow down more and more. Any weight from 900g to 1500g is a normal adult weight for boys; most will be somewhere between 1kg and 1300g.
