Kale?

Kale is a high calcium, high Vitamin C form of cabbage:

It's a great leafy green, mostly available in UK pre- cut, so not in the giant leaves you see in the photos. It can be bought from farmers markets etc. whole, and usually fairly cheap.

Not sure if you can get it in Australia, but other types of cabbage are pretty similar.

oh ok i know what your talkig about i think i have only seen the other varietys of cabbage though how often should i feed it seeing as its high in calcium.the piggies already have parsley a few times a week which is high in calcium so should i be giving them cabbage too?

You can feed it alongside parsley, yes. Both in moderation, so if you feed both, then just give smaller amounts of each.

Some piggies can find that cabbage makes them a touch gassy, these are the piggies who are slightly more susceptible to digestive troubles such as gas and bloat, but the large majority of piggies are absolutely fine with it. I don't like to feed cabbages daily as I do have two piggies prone to gas, if I do feed it, it is just a slice rather than a leaf each. :)

i will def try it in the future but for now i might not i have cut Boris's calcium down a little to help withthe movement in his legs and i wouldn't want to tease him to much by giving it to the other boys ;)
