Kanika, getting fatter by the day, lol

Kanika, is nearly 5 months old now and she is growing well.
I weighed her the other day and she is nearly 600grams, larger than Capy at 7 months old, when she died.

Anyhow here is the little fatty...

Shes a skinny pig, they are breed with only fur covering the nose and feet.

Sadly I lost Capy, my first skinny at only 7mths old, but friends in America have some 4yrs old, some hairy guineas don't last that long.
If any of mine live to 4yrs old I will be happy with them being a new breed, say the last 20yrs there is still a lot to be known about them, health wise.
Kanika is so fit and healthy I am really happy and proud, she is a special girl.

i'm so sorry about Capy

i also lost a pig at 9 months :'( but he was a heartpig

A lot of people refer to them as Hippos, my boss said she looks like a Rat :o!

I have heard loads say they are like mini Hippos but a Rat :o I doubt i could have kept quiet ::)

How does she look like a rat?! Rat's aren't hairless! She's so cute :) i like the idea of a mini hippo, hippo's are cute lol!
