Shes nearly 6 months old.
I had to moisturise her skin tonight it was looking a bit dry around her face. Thats the first time I have done it in 3mths.

She isn't so hippo like all stretched out :o I don't know how you can cope with all her extra needs which is why I'd never get one because I just couldn't give it enough attention :-\

How long do Skinny pigs usually live for out of interest?

The same amount of time a usual pig lives for.
I am an experienced cavy owner, have been in love with them for around 8yrs now and I had upto 50 Hairies at one stage. I would never take anything on that is out of my depth, my previous skinny sadly passed away at 7mths old due to diarrhoea which any pig can get not just skinnys. There is a couple of information posts in the Breed section and also I have started a website: http://skinnyguineapig.bravehost.com/ This will hopefully when I get around to updating it, will be a good resource of information for skinny owners and lovers.
The attention she requires in not as bad as people think, she requires around 5 minutes more per day(estimated) than a hairy pig and is no different apart from being nearly hairless.
