We were asked by our local rescue if we could take in 2 female skinny pigs who needed a new home. After 6 months, our rodentologist has said that the systemic fungal issues we had been going through are in remission (think that's how to describe it) and we are ok to take in new pigs. So we said yes.

Katie is 8 months old and Phoebe is 5 months old. Here are some pics from the rescue and one of Katie at home in the hay. Phoebe has stayed hidden so no pics yet.

Haha I thought they had a little dolls house to play in! :))

Glad the rescue has managed to get them to a good home where they'll get the extra care that they need :)

So glad you could offer these special girls the forever home they deserve.

HELLOOOOOO AND WELCOME KATIE AND PHOEBE TO YOUR FOREVER HOME XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

ahhhh it's lovely to see some skinnies again x)
Can't wait to hear about their pisonalities :(|)

Thank you everyone, they are settling in really well, Phoebe has no fear whatsoever and they both wheek for veg when we whistle. They slept together last night in the fleecy dog bed.

Well I think we are going to have our work cut out with Phoebe. She has a huge personality, reminds me very much of Nigel and really does have absolutely no fear. She had settled in within about a minute of arriving. Katie is taking longer to settle but does seem happy, is eating well and playing. She loves cuddles too and also has avery big personality.

They're both gorgeous x) Whoever named Phoebe has very good taste ;)

Can't believe I missed this thread! They are just x) x) They have landed on their feet with you.

Thank you, they are such little cuties, and so funny, they just spend the whole time charging about and wheek at the slightest noise.

Ok couple more pics:

if w ever get a house i would love a skinny pig! (i live on a really big canal boat, so the temperature doesn't stay at a constant enough temperature to keep skinny pigs) :))
