I was just lookin on ebay, for a rear view canera for my car, when l realised the other
Possibal uses.

It could be mounted a the top of a outdoor piggy cage, and you could remtoly keep a wach
On your out door, or even indoor pigs .

Thay are sold for around 30 pound , the only extra required would be a 6 volt touch type battery

Check it out on ebay (reversing cameras )

As well as my car, l am serosly thinking about mounting one in my pig room !!

Why do u think my user name is gptv? ;)
I bought a little camera for my hutch years ago when I was afraid one of mine was pregnant. I just went down turned on the tv &bingo my night vision camera in the hutch confirmed all was well :)
I didnt have to go out to the shed in the cold or disturb them. Turned out she wasn't pregnant. Phew!

Discovered a hay poke injury that way too. One of her eyes wasn't reflecting the light, turned out it had clouded over,so took her to the vets next day &she was all sorted :)

I'm thinking of upgrading to a wireless version to watch on my mobile as I dont have a tv at my place now.
My friends think I'm bonkers. But it still cost me less than they paid for a weeks worth of cigarettes& I had peace of mind

Not genius I'm afraid... It was plug &play ;)
It came supplied with an ultra long cable so plugged it in &put it onto av channel. Hey Presto :)

Not used it lately as the girls have been indoors . But its ready &waiting in the hutch should they go back out... Maybe next summer :))

It was made by "GET" really good picture in the day &night vision was pretty good too. Plus one way sound.

It was a godsend when I had a new girl for a bereaved piggy- they got on fine during laptime- but in the hutch on their own it was full on fighting, I've only ever had 2failed bondings &both times it was the camera that saved the day

An upgrade would be nice tho now for mobile viewing. Friends still take the mickey out of me now for having gptv :))

@artcasper. I think if u have an old camera mobile &WiFi there is a way of setting it up to record in the daylight. Your mobile sees the others picture. Not sure how though. I haven't looked into it but might be worth Google'ing it.
