My guinea-pigs have been in their run for a few hours but it started pouring with rain earlier so I've shut them in but I wanted to find something that would keep them occupied for a while whilst they're shut in their hutch. Any ideas? I mean like toys for them so they don't get bored in their hutches. Also, I would bring them indoors for floor time but they have been in the run for a few hours so they have got enough exercise and I don't want to risk bringing them in because I'm looking after 3 westies, and obviously I'd put them in a different room but I'd rather just keep them totally seperate and not risk anything happening to my guinea-pigs.

Paperbag or a toilet rolled filled with some rusty paper and a few treats for scent. Saucer swished in a bit of fruit juice.

Pick some grass and give them a pile of grass, or if they have hay racks put it in the hay racks, or even inside a toilet roll tube or something. That'll keep them occupied for a few minutes anyway :)

Thank you :) I've got one of those treat balls too but Roy just rolls it around and then gives up when he realizes there might actually be some effort needed to get the food :))

where do you get one of these "treat" balls
