At the moment I have 5 neutered boars (3are brothers) living together in alarge run next door to another large run cotaining 2 boars and 13 sows (boars are neutered,I have not had any trouble so far apart from a bit of teeth chattering. They all have different personalitys, and I think the less dominant piggies know when to beat a hasty retreat!
When I am putting veggies in one run the piggies in the adjoining run are all leaping about and squeaking like mad till they get their share, anyone would think they hadnt been fed for months, little monkeys!

Thanks. think i'll give it a go keeping them together if it doesnt work i can seperate them again. Thank you will be nice to have them altogether. x

I tend to agree with Sokel. If your boars are bonded, why split them up? It isnt guaranteed they will get on with their respective sows! It gives you options for the future that they are neutered but I would leave them in boar/boar and sow/sow pairings were it me ;)

I have a boar pairing and 2 neutered boar/sow pairing. One of my sows hates ALL piggies except HER boar, there really are no guarantees that a sow will take to a boar or vice versa.

I do however have both my neutered boars in my run with all girls but i have to keep an eye on them at all times :)

I have this too, my sow Iris hates other sows! Luckily when we tried her with Woodstock she was ok almost immediately.
