Where my piggies sleep at night gets very cold and I would like ideas on how to keep them warmer. I have heard that you can't use heat lamps as this can give them heatstroke! So any ideas would be much liked. :)

i put fleecy blankets over the cages in the night.when its really cold i have plug in radiator that i leave on over night on the lowest setting.

I did kindda the same, I put a fluffy towel in Pickles' cage and he liked to sleep on it, it was warm and cuddly! Now he has a hammock with furr in it, so he is not cold. That can be a cool idea if your piggies like being in a hamock.

My piggies are indoors in my dining room at the moment, but I will try this tip I heard when I put them back outside again. I have heard that if you put a cardboard box inside the bedroom department of the hutch, and fill this with either fleece or hay, then it makes the room smaller and heat is contained more effectively (obviously cut a door into the box in the same place that they would normally go into the bedroom!).
Hope this helps.

is that a really good price? i notice it says from on the price is there more than you size do you know? thanks

Well they are over £20 in P@H and same in my local garden centre. It was certainly the best I found.

No idea why it says From, possibly as most things on there come in various sizes, AFAIK these don't though.

Doeylicious, just wanted to say thanks for this link, i just bought two of these, and my mum got one too.

Dont know if anyone is interested but its free delivery for orders over £19, it may always be I'm not sure, but it definately is at the moment.

Thanks again :)
