hello! i'm 16 and have two wonderful female shorthair piggies Euna and Eclair! i've done all the proper research and have been taking good care of them. so, i've had them for about a month but i don't feel like taming is going as well as it could be if i was around them more, like if i kept them in my bedroom instead of my downstairs (i naturally spend more time in my room when i am home LOL). i have enough floor space, i don't use scented products besides essential oils and natural candles (but i plan on stopping if they were in my room) and the heating and cooling reaches upstairs so that wouldn't be an issue. so, any opinions? is it a bad idea? i just want to spend more time with them!~

I'm a new piggies mom myself and my boys are in my se
Spare bedroom upstairs where I spend a lot of time and they are thriving...i dont think there would be an issue... you seem to have thought it through well, I think you'll do fine whatever you decide xx

I think they do best in whatever room will cause them to be around you the most. The more they hear and smell you and interact with you the less afraid they will become. Looks like you thought it out thoroughly and will take really good care of them whatever room they end up in.

thanks for the responses! i just moved them up here and i've been playing some quiet punk rock music for them lol. they seem to be happy! 🥰

Comet and Blitzen preferred rock music to pop music, I assume it had something to do with the higher pitches involved with pop music lol. I tended to switch around keeping them in the bedroom and the living room - the bedroom was cooler in summer but there was more chance of people being around in the living room. I used to sleep on the sofa a quare bit as well if they were in the living room, turns out it was much easier to sleep with a bit of a background ruckus going on heh.

the sounds they make like the little squeaks and drinking from their bottle are quite comforting to me! also yes they are full punk rockers now lol ☺️
