My two girls are now 10 months old, and one in particular is becoming rather sassy when she gets bored! The get multiple piles of hay, hideys, tunnels and I try and hide their veg but they are so inquisitive and are into everything! I think they may be a bit spoilt, so my question is- how do you keep your fur babies occupied?

Another thought was whether something like the below (bird fat ball/ suet holders- new clean ones obviously) stuffed with hay would be safe? Might keep them occupied for a couple more minutes until they revert their usual antics of racing around and jumping about like lunatics!

We like Rosewood hay cubes and carrot cottages, or as a cheaper option cardboard boxes and brown paper bags stuffed with hay and veggies :)
I would avoid anything with wire bits designed for birds as firstly its quite unfair and frustrating for them if they cant get the last bits of food, and secondly they might give it their best shot to get at it and get their head stuck trying and panic and get seriously injured...

Oh gosh wouldn't want that! Thank you for your reply, definitely won't be doing that!

Carrot cottages all the way. Wilko, pets at home 👍. Wilko are £6 pets at home are £10.

Pets at home ones seem better quality, more generous with the carrot and hay topping. But not worth £4 more 🙄
