Kenny has a lump

I was just petting Kenny and felt a lump on the back of his neck. Theres no bite or injury that I can see and it appears to be a little tender to him. It is mobile. He is eating drinking and playing fine. Could it be a fatty deposit? He has gained a good deal of weight since we got him.
 
Around the 'scruff area' at the back of the neck all guinea pigs have a fatty deposit, this is why sub cut injection (under the skin) as so painful in that area.
