Kina is afraid of the dark

I woke up at five this morning to wheeking. I didn't recognize it (anyone who owns pigs know all wheeks are different, haha!) so, I peek over in Apollo and Squigs cage- they're looking annoyed... But not squeaking.


I look down in Stars cage- nope. She was sound asleep. then into Mooks cage, nope! He was sleeping as well.


Finally, I get over to Clover and Kina. Clover is off in the corner, head in her box to try and sleep... And Kina is toddling around the cage squeaking at the top of her lungs. confused and disoriented, I turned the light on... She stopped.

I turned the light off, back to wheeking a few seconds later.

I found this funny, and did this a few more times, all with success.

the only way I could get back to sleep, was by turning my Fish Tank light on and scooting the cage over. I woke up this morning for class and she was cuddled up to momma sound asleep. . Looks like I'll have to get a Night Light for someone.

I dount she is actually scared of the dark, it could be that she likes the attention you make of her when the light is on. So sqeaks to make you turn the light on and therefore offer her some attention

Gasp! That sneaky little thing. I never even thought of that. She's like a toddler throwing a fit.
