Thanks ladies. :)

I missed a call at 12 on the home phone, number was withheld which is sometimes Vedra, so I phoned her and she said it wasn't her and the vet hadn't even arrived yet. :))

Still not heard anything, will have to be patient I guess.

I am sorry for your long wait - it is always so nerve racking!

Thinking of you and your beautiful boy.

Hoping the op went well. Must be a long nerve-wracking day for you!

Oh the waitng is the worst part.

Fingers crossed that all is well and Kingsley will soon be home:)

He's coming home tonight, off to collect him in five minutes! Phew!

Thanks for all the good wishes, will update again when he's all settled tonight or tomorrow morning.

xx

Little man is home, very neat wound although still a drop of blood now and again. Not wobbly or groggy at all, eating normally, first thing he did was bite the cage bars to say hello to Saffron. Like he's never been away!

P.S. Double celebration, I managed to collect him myself, first time I've seen Vedra in three months!

Well done you, that's great news!

And sounds like Kingslie has no idea what a lot of worry he's put you through!

Well done Kingslie, you must be so relieved! Kingslie will soon reap the benefits of today's operation, I'm really glad it went well. :)

Great news - cant wait to see pics of him with his wife.................x)

Thank you. :)

All ok this morning, thought he might be bothering his stitches last night but - touch wood - he's looking neat today.

Bit disgruntled and possibly a touch bemused (see pic), but then that's fairly normal for him. Now counting down to the "wedding date" of 28 July or thereabouts for him and Saff.

I am glad that all is going well so far!

Well done on making to it all the way to the CCT!

I'm worse than a yoyo me. :))

Thank you for the well wishes again, Kingslie and I really appreciate all your support, makes a big difference to us!

As I mentioned in Elle's thread in H&I, Kingslie is playing the "no poops" game at the moment, very few have come out today but he's pigging out as usual and otherwise fine, wound is very tidy and healing really well, so I'm not going to worry just yet.

He is on 0.2ml children's Nurofen 2x daily though, to help with the inflammation and any tenderness there. No outward signs of pain, but just to be sure, he'll stay on the Nurofen for another few days.

I am taking photos as promised, every 12 hours (what a difference those 12 hours can make!) but I thought I'd wait a week to actually put a photo diary together to share, instead of posting pics as we go along.

Right now, I'm at the "I can't believe he's actually been done" stage. Waited so long to get him in for his op and all of a sudden it's sorted and the next step is the wedding!

Such a handsome boy! Glad he is making positive steps in his recovery.

Gald you are making positive steps too, I know exactly how you feel, I suffer with the same thing x

He'll be fine I am sure.

They can worry you a bit afterwards, 2 or 3 days and it's all back to normal.....

He is a stunning boy, nice to see this end of him before the picture thread about his other end goes up :))

I hope you wake up to lots and lots of poop in the morning :)
