Teenage Guinea Pig
I had lap time with a few of the pigs tonight and it got me remembering how much my permanent charges have changed over the time I've had them.
Flubs was a sprightly pig, but has calmed down in the year and a half between pictures and has begun to look a little rougher round the edges:
Toffee was smaller than the palm of my hand 14 months ago, now she's tied for my heaviest pig with Flubs:
Fudge was so itchy, bedraggled, and miserable a year and a half ago, now she enjoys being a streamlined pig, popping and zooming around the cage after every buzzcut. She's on the right in the first picture.
And finally, Rolo pig who has been fostered by us for 3 months. He's doing so well, having had a rather bad episode of bloat. No before pictures, but this after picture says it all (as well as his "adopt me" headshot; note those excellent doughnut lips). I also think his right eye might be developing osseous metaplasia -- can anyone weigh in on their experiences? Not going to make it a medical thread because he's fine in himself.
