I have two sows, one a few months old and another 9 months. The older one is a very sassy Abyssinian who will often let me know very quickly that she wants to back into her enclosure but the younger one doesn’t fidget or complain and I’m trying to get her more used to being handled. Obviously I’ll let them both out in the hallway or something for floor time but when it comes to being held is it alright if I just take the younger one out by herself? The only thing is that the younger one will sometimes wheek and call to her older step sister as she’s wondering where she is. Is that okay as well I don’t mean to accidentally stress her out? She only calls for a few seconds then has no problem chilling under a blanket on my lap but will call out again when she hears the other one scuffle around. Also, any tips on how to make laptime more enjoyable for your piggies or just any quick tips? I’ll read the rest of the forum as well thanks!

Could you have them both out together with another person?

I can have them both out, but the issue is that the older one is too fussy about being out for long so I was just wondering if just having one without the other out is fine.

It is but gauge the situation, if we have chickpea out for too long widget gets a little anxious in her cage and keeps checking all cosies for her...
