I'll admit I haven't been spending time with the boys lately due to living apart and trying to get my life straight but I need to start spending more time with them to gain their trust, they are still quite nervous of me when I catch them and I hate it.

How long should they be having on my lap per night and is it better for them to sit on me together or should I cuddle and talk to them separately?

I sound like a newbie lol, but I just want to start again and make them super happy piggies. :)

Do you have an indoor run? On the evenings when i first got my boys i used to sit in the run with them whilst i read a book or watched the telly (lol!) and allowed the boys to become used to me over the week, i then gradually began petting them and then eventually i got to a point where i could lift them up onto my chest :) I'd take both of them for lap time though as they'll have one another for reassurance if they are nerous! :)

Unfortunately they can't leave my room as my mum has a cat (she wasn't expecting us to move back home when she bought her!) :(|)

There is lack of space in my room, hence the corner cage, luckily I have a big ledge so it will save floor space. I will just have to sit on my bed with them, poor boys used to have run of the conservatory when I first got them then we had to move. :(

Ooo the bed idea will work well, sorry for the suggestion of the indoor run funnily enough my boys had the run of the conservatory before i moved too :)) The cage is lovely though it looks so spacious, i hope they trust you soon (I'm sure some veggie persuasion might work too :)) )

Hehe, veggies always help! Hoggle has no problem eating from my hand but Ludo is one stubborn piggy, he will only eat if he thinks I have left the room lol. :))

Ludo sounds just like a pig i know...Artie! Its funny watching him, after eight months i've finally got Artie to trust me enough to pick him up, but he runs away with his food when i hand feed him and he prefers my OH to me (charming!) even though my OH might only go and say hello to them once a week.. and wheeks and popcorns whenever my OH strokes him, but Harvey well hes a mummys boy...he sits on my foot when I'm cleaning the cage hehe :))

It's bribery all the way! Try holding on to the veggies so Ludo can't run away with them, it's amazing what fears they'll conquer if they think they're going to miss out!
If you can try and get into a routine they'll soon get the hang of it.
