One of my girls has a massive (bite shaped) piece missing from her ear. Its about a third of her ear gone. I'd say it probably happened yesterday from looking at it. There have been no prior incidents and everyone seems quite content.

Do I need to seperate her even if she still seems otherwise fine and getting along as usual with the others? Or can I put this down to a scuffle that went a bit far and carry on as usual?

Are you sure she’s not caught it on something? As one of my previous boars had an ear split in half as we think he caught it on a hayrack. :(

If everyone is acting normal and nobody appears stressed out, I would be inclined to leave them but keep an eye on them.

When I first brought my Eleanor home, Eliza bit her ear drawing the bonding process drawing a bit of blood and caused a tear but neither of them seemed stressed out by the ordeal and there was no teeth chattering or anything so I left them and they became the best of friends. Ears are also very delicate and fragile.

But I agree that a photo would be good
