I have no idea what this could be, well done in getting him to a vet asap, please make sure they are experienced with guinea pigs, and not just cats and dogs

Not sure what it is. He really needs to see a vet. Is there a particular reason why you bath your piggy so often? I rarely bath mine. Only Betsy gets a bum bath as she is long haired and her bum gets a bit smelly and matted and needs trimming every so often.
