Not sure what is going on but one of my pigs is doing abnormally large poops. They are not runny and are right 'consistency' but just big. She is not having a problem when going to the toilet i.e no squeaking , etc. Any ideas what could be wrong?

How old is she and has there been a change in diet recently? I would think it's fine if they are a normal colour and consistency. I know one of my pigs does tiny poo's (maybe that's why she can be such a cowbag! lol) and the male does the biggest poo's of the three... now I'm wondering if it's odd to be able to recognise your pigs from their poo's

:D I don't think anything is wrong. Maybe she is just eating more than usual. As long as they are the right shape and consistency, and she is not having any trouble getting them out, I would say that everything is okay. It is only when they are too soft or mis-shaped or they are not doing many that you need to worry.

She is about 2 and a half... no real change in diet so that's why it's a bit odd.My other one does tiny poops too but she has had a few digestive problems She ha had some probiotic in her food as the other pig has been a bit ill and vet suggested it .Could that be it? Yes it is all a bit worrying how much poo studying we do!

Thanks for your replies she does seem fine in herself.Just the change was a bit striking!

I agree that it is not really anything to worry about if they are normal in every other way. Could be the probiotic like you say.

I can tell which poos came from which pig.. And i have 3. It is sad really haha. Doesnt sound worrying to me :)
