Kongo 2020-5/7-2026

Summer of 2023 I had the honours to get to know the funniest and most loving boy in the world. My Kongo. First time I saw him he was standing in the middle of a room and had a great sing-a-long with one of his fosterfamilys birds. He came running as soon as I was sitting down and said Hello. Totally fearless!

When you moved in you were a very small 2,5y/o boy. A skinny boy, only 889g.

You very soon fixed that...

You came to us because Chip was so sad losing Pikachu. But like the little King Kongo you ruled your world, ate Chips food and made a mess. You were just as happy in your own crib, with Chips food close enough to steal. Just a very long nose or a long front let and Chip screamed.

Kongo says Hello to his normal sized neighbours Joe and Chip

You was such a bright soul, enjoying life and food to Max. Always very happy and could hang out for hours. You ran after me and jumped my feets if you had floor time on your magic carpet. You could be in the cuddlebox for hours, just snoozing. If I said "kiss kiss" you did put your nose in the air, and kissed me back if I kissed your nose. You loved a hug

You loved beds! Everything in Guinea pig or rabbitsize was too small, but that didnt stop you.

When Djingis Kahn moved in you got the third chance and for a couple of weeks it actually worked out. You we're a hard but fair nanny! Then you wanted to eat little Djingis and kharma hit you and you lost your toofies. Twice. You were a happy neighboar again...

BIG HUGS

I am so very sorry that Kongo needed to go and mix up the crowd at the Rainbow Bridge who will not know what is hitting them!

What a loving, wonderful tribute to a one-off special pigsonality that doesn't play by the rules but snatches your heart and runs away with it, never going to bring it back. Your life can feel very empty and grey for a while whenever somepig like Kongo leaves you until you can find your heart again and all the glorious memories he has stashed inside it. And afterwards never being able to remember Kongo other than but with a silly grin on your face because he has so much life stuffed into the few years with you that it really feels like a lifetime...

No words ….dear Kongo 💔
We miss you

Freddy (ONF) is especially quiet ….

I’m sure your causing mischief and mayhem at RB lovely boy 🥰

A lovely tribute to your King Kongo.

You are greatly missed Kongo, we loved following all your adventures. Create mayhem at the bridge.

Sweet dreams handsome boy. 🌈

What a lovely and moving tribute to Kongo.
Your love for him shines through your words.
Kongo was a forum star and he will be missed.
Be gentle with yourselves as you grieve.
Hugs 🤗

I'm very grateful for your posts, and so happy for this forum and the chance to make Kongo alive for other piggie-nerds. We do tend to care for each others pigs, and can really feel each others pain when our babies has to go.

Kongo was so fascinating in both his body size and his personality size. He was a BIG dude in every way! Towards humans so curious and sweet, but a real a**hole with other pigs. I will miss his late night escapes bodyslamming down the whole grid-system and run towards the kitchen. Multiple times I found him lying down outside the storage room where we have hay and pellets, looking like a happy dog when I come. He really was my little heart and joy!
