Junior Guinea Pig
A couple of weeks (wheeks?) ago my boyfriend randomly told me that we should get another guinea pig; dangerous words, as I'm sure you'll all agree! By the end of the day I was already in conversation with two rescues. It didn't take very long before we had some photos through; I told my boyfriend that he could choose and that this piggie would be his!
Anyway, we got offered a pair of eightweek old PEWs, absolutely adorable. Unfortunately we could not take both, but fortunately there was another lady who just wanted one piggie (and they weren't a bonded pair). My boyfriend chose the fluffier (sheltie mix) of the two and we went to pick her up a few days later.
So without further ado, I should like to introduce you all to our new baby Sticklebrick! (His choice of name!) She seems to have been well recieved by most of the herd, although Posset (who is bottom of the pack in terms of hierarchy) is a bit on edge and being a bit of a bully. Hoping it settles down soon.
