Adult Guinea Pig
Sadly the owner of these guineas was very misinformed about the breeding habits of guinea pigs, Mum, Dad and babies 3 left from a litter of five came in yesterday. He cared very much for his guineas and still has several who are now living in same sex accomodation. There are two possibly pregnant sows still with him and I hope to revisit soon.
Mum is a lovely girl and looking after her babies very well but has probably been caught post partum so will be with us for a while. Dad is a very shy boy and is currently just settling in.
So at four days old with a quick weigh in (on arrival the ranged from 58-70g) a few quick snaps of
Bumble (she is very stripey on her other side)
Bizzy (she is not so stripey)
And last but not least the very wriggly
Henry Honey Pot!!
They are super little bubs and Mum Bee is doing a great job of looking after them.
