Hi I saw one of my piggy’s with a brown dried up Laurel leaf in its mouth, I jumped in the run and tried to grab him. I thought with the panic he would drop it but as I tried to grab him I’m sure he started to chew faster! I’d say he ate about half or quarter of a average size leaf? Do you think he will be ok as it was brown n dried up? Less poisonous?
Please tell me yes!

Brown leaves don't contain less toxins, but in that quantity it should not cause any problems.
See a vey promptly if your guinea pig is looking off/losing the appetite/is listless or fitting though!

Not sure if they are poisonous but my two eat any dried up leaves that are on the lawn, (they love mountain ash/Roman leaves in particular, they must like the tannin in them. Just keep an eye on him or if you are really concerned perhaps ring and talk to a vet?

Thanks, I’ll keep an eye on him.
