I didn't know piggies could have lavender! I will be watching this for more details as I live right near a lavender farm and have lavender in my back garden!
I've never given it as I don't have any growing fresh anywhere, but it isn't on any of the Guinea Lynx poisonous plants lists that I can see.
There's some discussion about it here with a good few anecdotes about people feeding it as an additional treat.
Also here, where it's mentioned that Oxbox do a variety of hay which includes lavender (([ame="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Petlife-Oxbow-Botanical-Hay-Small/dp/B00494K350/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1348819528&sr=8-7"](here)[/ame])), so presumably safe.
The Oxbow inclusion leads me to believe you'd view it as a forage, so probably safe in low amounts, maybe 1-2 times a week?
Lavender, like sage rosemary and thyme and the other Mediterranian herbs are not recommended as part of a piggy diet because of their concentrated essential oils. Most piggies won't do more than give it a cautious nibble anyway!
