Lawn Feed?

Hi

I'm hoping to get some advice from you on feeding my lawn when our piggies like to eat it.

So, I've always fed my lawn with an off the shelf lawn 'weed and feed', however last year I stopped when we got out piggies, but it's looking a little sorry for its self and I'm wanting to feed it but I know I'll have to keep the pigs off for a little while if I do.

Does anyone else here feed their lawn, if so how long do you keep the pigs off it for before allowing them back on to eat it? Any alternative recommendations? I know there are 'pet safe' lawn feeds but how safe are they actually for guinea pigs?

You need to have mowed any treated grass 3-4 times before it’s safe for the piggies to go back on it

Poop soup and woodshavings or woodshavings liquor should work well, but the poop might be smelly.
