I really really need to treat my lawn as its more moss/weed than grass!

I understand that the piglins won't be able to go out for some time but how long is safe to leave it before they can go back in the run?

Or would it be best to forget it altogether? mallethead

Good question, I'm interested to know too as we used patch magic about 4-5 weeks ago and I'm worried about them getting out there but also worried about them not having a chance this summer

Lawn

I treated my lawn (was a few years ago so could have changed) and was advised had to let lawn grow and cut 3 times before piggy safe. Have you tried ringing helpline on treatment box or bottle?

I'd be very interested in this too. We treated ours about 6 weeks ago and I still have them in their run on the patio! Poor little mites!

Evergreen have a forum so you could try searhing that although when we googles it my question I posted in TGPF came up! :))

ah yes may be worth contacting them direct, I guess they will forgive me a few weeks on the patio for a lifetime of yummy grass!

We treated our lawn with the Evergreen stuff a couple of months ago. I'm sure it said on the carton to wait until it has absorbed into the ground before allowing animals on the grass. I knew it had all absorbed due to the amount of rain we'd had and checked the lawn thoroughly before allowing them out. To be on the safe side, I left it a month and the grass was cut twice before they went on it. They've been out in their runs quite a lot since and seem really happy about all the new lush green grass they've got!

I'd be interested to hear manufacturer's views if they ever respond.

Hope this helps x

One of things I do (if you have the space) is keep a small sectioned area (I use bamboo canes to mark it out) which does not receive any treatment at all. That way they always have somewhere to go. This gets rotated on a 6-12 month basis so the grass gets treated eventually and the piggies get to go out.
