Rust the baby boy guinea pig being lazy with his brown bread they love there brown bread ! Takes after the mother guinea pig she love her brown bread when she was pregnant that's what started them on brown bread !

He is gorgeous Jayne but please don’t feed them bread - its totally unsuitable to be fed to them and very damaging to their gut health.

All we want is to help you give them long, happy and healthy lives and by ensuring they have the best diet of lots of hay, some veggies and a tiny amount of plain pellets is the way to go about that.

Look at all that wonderful hay they have. That’s fabulous. They definitely don’t want bread @jayne. You don’t want to make them all ill do you? That would make you so sad.

It's lovely to see them enjoying treats but there are much better things you can give them that won't be harmful. Have you tried piggy parcels? They have a lot of treats they can eat from your hand and build up your bond even more.

Jayne you really need to start listening to everyone’s advice on here. We really love having you as a member and enjoy seeing and hearing updates of your gorgeous piggies, so please take on board everyone’s suggestions and advice with their housing and feeding. Bread will kill them eventually. They have all that lovely hay, all they need is hay and a few veggies and pellets if you want to treat them.

Please don’t give your pigs bread. It isn’t part of their natural diet and will do harm in the long term

Your baby boy is gorgeous and he looks so cute in his hay but I agree with the others, please do not feed your guinea pigs bread as it will eventually kill them and I’m sure you do not want that x

Look at that little nose Brown bread has a lot of yeast in it which can ferment in their tummies and make them very poorly. I would not feed any sort of bread to them, they have all they need from hay
