My 2 piggies point blank refuse to eat cabbage or spring greens. So the only leafy greens I can get them to eat are romaine lettuce and little gem lettuce. Have been noticing some white spotting on their fleece which I assume is from the calcium. Is it ok to give them romaine and little gem every day?

In the morning they get pepper, cucumber, celery and coriander. In the evenings they get pepper, coriander, romaine, little gem and a green beans each. They have had spinach & curly kale before, but know to give these sparingly due to the high calcium content, so due to the white spotting I haven't been giving them any of these at all recently. As a treat, they occasionally get some apple, melon or grape.

As long as the white spots are merely powdery and not sludgy/gritty in any way it's ok. It just means their bodies are excreting the excess calcium well. When the white deposits turn sludgy/gritty then you need to seriously cut back on the calcium.

Thank you.
