Leaking bottles!

Have done exactly as it says (fill to top and shake it before hanging it on cage) but the blinking things keep leaking all over their cage. Its so annoying.

Does anyone have any tips? Or is it simply that they only last so long? I have had them since we got our piggies 17 months ago.

What type is it? Plastic, with a metal spout.. glass... etc etc.

Yup the plastic ones, metal spouts with ball bearings.

I have found they only last a certain amount of time, eventually my piggies chew so hard they bend the little spout end slightly out of shape, then the ball bearing doesnt sit propperly, hence, leaking. Probably just pop to wilkinsons and get a replacement...

Ive found a similar problem with our bottle as well. I end up trying to twist the bottle so the spout slants to the side a bit and that has seemed to help a little. It is annoying lol

Thanks guys, found that those spring holders didnt help so have tried the wire ones again and its seemed to have worked. The ends dont look bent or chewed, so will see how it goes.
