Red doesn't climb on things, doesn't rearrange his furniture, loves best about fresh corn on the cob the husks and silks and will leave the corn itself alone. He will come eat those clovers all day if he could. He stays outside his pig house much more than he hides inside it, using it mostly to get away from me when I want to take him out of the cage. He is usually content to be carried in his carry basket.
I am finding out that I cannot predict Sal's actions based on Red's actions. Sal climbs on everything in his little enclosure, he knocks everything around in there, eats the corn from the cob but leaves the husks and silks alone. He will not come and eat clovers. He spends most of his time hiding in his pig house; I took it along with us to the vet, and after she had checked him out, he ran to hide in it and then burbled contentment with being in there (made the vet smile). He does not like a carry basket and tries frantically to jump out.
I never would have thought that guinea pigs can be so different from each other. At least the basics are the same, the food and water.
