I feed the guinea pigs veg by putting it in a big wire ball that hangs in their home and they pull the veg out. Each day it is so funny seeing which go first, which are left behind.
So far, lettuce, cucumber and rocket are the first to go. Parsley goes after them. Carrot and kale are next. Then peppers, then celery. grudgingly they nibble on sprout leaves. Cabbage is always last. Plus I think it makes their wee smell. That's a drag, as we have some free cabbages from next door's veg patch. Still, once the veg patch in our garden is producing the new season's crops it will be much easier to keep them in fresh veg they like.

Do your guinea pigs have a clear list of top foods?

Parsley can make wee and poo more smelly, too; coriander/cilantro doesn't.

And yes, piggies have their own food hierarchy, but it can differ according to personal taste.

I was thinking about getting one of those balls seems like its fun for all after reading your post LOL!
My Bloom LOVES orang peppers, then Cucumber then carrots he's not a fan of cabbage leaves or broccolli but he'sonly been with us a week and a half so tme will tell lol
I did run out of Orang peppers so chopped him up some green and red he was not ammuses he drags it in his tube and then out again with only a nibble gone and takes a bit of cucumber instead. rolleyes xx
