Leaving to pick up baby piggy tomorrow

hello,I'm so excited i just had to share,tomorrow OH and myself will be leaving for Sydney a 7 hour trip to pick up our new piggy:),we have booked a place to stay on the way back so piggy can have a rest and i have his carrier ready and new toys for him too,incase noone knows its "elvis is my cavy"s baby piggy that was born from Stella(petshop mis sexing),he is sooo cute,i will be posting pics from the road and possibly a name poll once i know what he looks like,i am dumbfounded when it comes to picking namesrolleyes,I'm also in the process of organising an adult boar from rescue to pair with him,once i get baby piggy and his new friend hat makes 8 boars here, the smell should be utterly fun lol:(|)

Long journey

I can't believe how far you're going to get a piggy! If I drove for 7 hours from here, in almost any direction I'd be in the sea!

Can't wait to see pigtures of your new baby. Hope he takes to the road well, and you have a safe trip.

i think it will be ok i have been making lots of plans so he is comfy;),i am a little crazy lol as long as the piggy is happy i will travel any distance,from personal experience you can travel 20+ hours here and still be on land lol

Google earth

Just google earthed wodonga and sydney, and it doesn't look that far at first glance, but then I looked again- wow, it's a hell of a way. I've never heard of Wodonga before, excellent name!

You've also got a Penrith over there!
 
lol,yeah it is a long way,i hate wodonga its where as i say it the wodonga bogons live:x,i live in a nice area and only travel there when i need piggy veg,we dont have a fresh food market in my part of townrolleyes
 
amazing to be in touch with someone so far away... its fab, wow have * got pics up anywhere here apart from pigtures? i bet its lovly where you live.....

yes it will be great fun and ill post some of our trip on the way too so everyone can see a part of Oz x

thanks Glynis,i will be on lappy when i get bored lol and to post pictures of baby piggy of course;),i am driving half of the way lol,should be interestingrolleyes,tony says I'm like a go-cart driver,might let him drive once we get piggy lol:p

Oh i loooooooved driving go karts i was erm a bit wild in them rolleyes:))
 
hope every thing goes ok . hope he doesnt get piggie sick in the car on way back to his new home lol

i kind of burst out laughing when i saw this,the closest thing i may have mentioned at the start of the thread is that he is a petshop mis sexing accident lol,its ok though glad you have gone to bed x
