hello, this is Oreo. she used to be full of energy , was the first to popcorn , and always jumped on top of things. now she is less hyper and spends most her time sleeping. I am very worried

There could be many reasons for her slowing down, not all of which are medically related. If you are worried that there is something wrong with her, then you should see a vet

When you say used to. What time gap is this? Weeks, months, years?

yeah months

How old is Oreo now? Guinea pigs calm down noticeably from about 4 months of age and then again even more as adults from 15 months onwards. The older they become, the more they'll sleep.

We do however recommend a yearly vet check or a vet check up if you are worried.

When piggies grow old don't they get a less active than they were when they were a baby?

Keep an eye on her weight, it will tell you if she's eating enough. Guine apigs are most active from about 5pm until about 12 pm then again in the mornings, mine sleep alot during the day and just eat any hay that is close by their mouths
