Let the re-bonding begin

We have started the re-bonding process between my four bonded girl group and Grizzy, the potential hus boar! We have given them plenty of hay, no hideys and water. From what we are seeing it’s like he is the typical hormonal boar, but there is no agression. Whenever him and my alpha girl pig get close they keep clashing. He’s tried to hump nearly everybody and she doesn’t like it. He only reacts when my dominant girl starts..there’s a lot of that and then resting. They just need to find some common ground if they can. Any help/ideas? Has anyone struggled with this? They were completely fine living side by side. We have only just started and I don’t want to stop now

We can’t really tell. Most of the time it’s pretty quiet then him and the alpha pig have a tiff but nothing serious. The other pigs are just submissive to him and run. He’s tried to hump them all and one let him haha

Its still the same. They’ve had a few one on ones but it’s mainly high pitched squealing, teeth chatter and some altercations but mainly chasing and nipping. She does seem like she’s backing down but he’s either so dominant or just overly hormonal

I remember when I bonded Micah with my girls last year his hormones went into overdrive and it wasn’t his brain he was thinking with.
He was a very young pig so dominance was less of an issue but it was exciting for several days.

We think he is around 2, but he is definitely older than my girls. My youngest is 9 months and my oldest is a year and two months so they’re still quite young. What we know about him before being rescued is that he was always kept alone and never had a companion to socialise with. He was never neglected he has just never been with any other pig before. Bonding my two girls when I first got them was so easy and I didn’t really have to do anything, thankfully they get along really well. The unexpected pregnancy was a shock, but they just fitted really well and there was no dominance re-shuffle. I have attached a picture of the current situation. I plan to change the hay/tidy before bed later but I will leave them in there as I do feel okay about it. We just think his hormones have gone into overdrive and he’s the most overboard

I don’t really know if I should transfer them yet. There’s no agression at all, but all he does is rumble strutt and the ant to hump even everybody lol

It is quite funny to watch because one minute he’s like that and the next he can be quite skittish and whiney

I think we have done it. I placed them in there last night and they were zooming all over the place. Erma (Ex top pig) has finally accepted defeat, but the girls aren’t scared to put him in his place or hog all the food.
