Lethargic guinea pig

Glad this little pig is still going. I wasnt get update because of it being its own thread now.
 
Hi guys my huniee pig is ok but is not showing any signs of improvement what should I do she is still breathing heavily and she has been for the past week but I’ve gave her the right medication? What should I do now
 
I would take her back to the vet as soon as possible. What did the vet day was wrong the last time? Sorry if I’ve missed that.
 
Guinea pigs get a lot of their water from their veg. Please go back to your vet to review her condition and medication if she has not recovered

If you can upload it to a public site like YouTube or Facebook and then post the link here members will be able to see it
 
Hi guys thanks for th advice my pig sadly died today she was in so much pain they were going to put here down but she died before they could

Oh this is very sad to read. I only just started reading through the thread from page one and then came to your sad news. I hope you can take comfort from her being out of pain now.
 
Really sorry for your loss. It is clear your piggy was very ill and sometimes, no matter how we quick we act to get them treatment, it will never be enough. Respiratory illness is so hard on a guinea pigs system and they can go downhill so very quickly. I had a similar experience with one of mine a few years back, straight to the vet on the Friday - medicate and feed all weekend, back to the vets on the Monday and she passed the Monday night. It's heartbreaking but you did all you could
 
So sorry for your loss.
You did everything you possibly could for Hunnie but in the end gave her the gift of pts.
Look after yourself and take time to grieve.
Remember that you gave her a life filled with love

Please dont,you did the best you could. We all have lost pets when we have tried our very best to save them. You joined here and did your very best to contact anyone who knew how to help you. You will feel better in time.

Think about your family and friends you will leave behind. It will ruin their lives. If you want to talk, myself and many other members are more than happy to help you through this
 
I feel like this now I feel like I could of done more I don’t know I lost my last guniee pig 2 months ago that broke me now I’m broke again

I know, you must feel like absolute crap. I went through it last year and then the year before.
