...and take a few minutes to forget it for a short while and post on here about the best thing that bind us ALL together - our PIGGIES! :))

Regardless of personal rows, differences of opinions and other unidentifiable reasons of unrest at the moment, like it or not we all have one thing in common. Pinea Gigs. And we ALL love them. In that we are united!

I'll start:

I love the way my boys smell, especially their ears. They smell like biscuits! It's been said before I know, but I am a member of the Piggy Sniffers Anonymous Club :))

Anyone else care to add?

I love listening to babies munch on their food and getting piggy kisses

xx

I love the way my piggies eyes light up when they see me and they start wheeking for food! i love cuddles with all of them, and the way their personalities are soo different!

I used to be with you on the sniffing but at minute if I sniff my boys I think I will pass out from the smell :))

I love the way they get all excited for no reason and do little jumps / mini popcorns it makes me warm inside and I'm like bless they are really happy!

I don't often sniff mine it has to be said, wouldn't fancy a whiff of Ralfie to be honest. I love how they all climb the C&C in when they think they're getting fed, Maggie gets her whole head over it she's so funny :) x

Well i've had boys and girls soooooooo

re: boys: their quirky ways they rumble and strut and bare their toofies at each other ROFL..........they look so tuff but they not :(|), then their bum waggling awwww it too cute and i just loved my two boys they were my kids and yeah they meant a whole lot to me
now my girls my first real pets for me since i was a kid...well they skittle around the place they smell oh so piggie deliciousa x) they popcorn like crazy, they make me smile so much, and their wheeeeeeeeks oh if i do not respond i'm in BIG trouble! it means whee want fooooooooood mummy..LOL
i think over all i have to say their smell is the best, leave aside the hay smell, just their hair/fur mmmmmmmm it's so so lovely and then their quirky ways as i said, each one is so different, LOL one will stick out a leg awww and make you laugh, then one will popcorn...another will look at you with their cute little eyes and make you just love them to bits, next one will then turn their butt as if to say 'no way' you laugh and then look again and they'll be off eating or doing something real cute.........piggie life it's just the best and i'm so dam proud to be a mummy and before a granny of them :)

so yeah what a lovely thread and thankyou xx>>>xx>>>

ah yes! #

i love the kisses behind their ears, its so soft and their little bellies! aww!

ROFL oh yeah i so remember that smell, even tho now i've only got girls i'll never EVER forget that smell .......it's something that will be with me forever.... x)x)

I love the way baby guinea pigs always smell of hay..

I love the way Junior always tugs the wire inside his cage when I take his water bottle to refill it..and I then have to spend half an hour trying to find out where he's hidden it!

I love the way I can put my head into the hutch and Evie will come over and lick my nose..

I love the way Gucci is a total drama queen and cries every, single darn time I pick her up, anyone would think I was trying to murder her!

I love the way the pigs squeal every time I go near them..I am a mere human and only put on this earth to feed my pigs :)p

oh i forgot a good one
I love how all i have to do is do a hay top up,say his name, or fill up the vege bowl and Bandit popcorns like mad, half the time he does it for silly reasons:))

I love the way that they sit so nicely once they are on your lap. I also love how they wheek like mad at dinner time and 2 of them have ears that flap when they wheek - it's soooo cute!

I love this post - it's just right. Guineas rock!

Oh the piggy train! I forgot to add that! Where they run in a line and their ears flap, that's hilarious! xx

i love the way my boys can hear the fridge door open from two rooms away, and stand their begging, certain that every carrier bag that is rattled in the house MUST contain treats for them, after all who could be more important that the piggies xx>>>

Oh, ears flapping when they wheek - yes, I had forgotten that! Lovely!

Yeah I can understand the comments about the boy smell :)>>> but bar that, sniff their heads and ears and they smell luvverly x)

I also love the way that they lift my heart with every single popcorn, and that they reward me with love and trust and so much joy in return for their exhorbitant food/hay/vet bills :))

*Stands up*

My name is Lorna and I'm a fellow guinea pig sniffer. What is it with the smell of piggy? It's well addictive.

I'm with you guys too, Sandra, another piggy sniffing addict!:))

Sitting fiddling with piggy feet whilst they snuggle on your lap - their little front pads are so soft.

Hearing my gang wheeking when they hear the fridge door open - even though they are currently tucked up in the shed, which first thing in the morning is behind two closed doors!

Being groomed by Ruby (my RB piggy) whilst she sat on my lap.

The list is endless:)x)x)

Another member of the sniffer's club...

I love the way

- Llewelyn's fur twitches exactly where I'm giving him a cuddle in my mind! Or the way he makes a little four legged jump whenever he's frustrated!

- big, soft Nerys melts onto my chest when I cuddle her under my pullover, and when she gives me a kiss ... mmmh, I'm in slave Heaven!

- Nia pulls her "innocent baby" face when she's about to stir up some BIG trouble! Or when she popcorns like mad all over the living room!

Ah wonderful thread Julie, yep despite the difference of opinions we all love our pigs and that is what bonds us. :)

Well you all have well behaved pigs! I don't so can't go around sniffing Twinkle because he smells of boar juice! rolleyes

I love how Leia is so laid back but when she came here she wasn't like that at all. It's lovely to see her settled now. :)

I love the way that a previously neglected or unloved pig learns to trust a person. Little steps like coming to the cage bars, taking food from a hand, allowing a stroke, and finally being happy to be picked up and cuddled. This is what I love about Brillo.
Noggin is simply the most loveable, cuddly pig in the world (to me!) and I love the way he licks my hands.

My boars smell of Oxo cubes....OH's description :)) biscuits? nope....you sure yours haven't been in the biscuit cupboard Ju? :))

Fantastic reminders of what we all love best, guys, I am loving reading through this thread. There is just too much to list isn't there - as Sandra said, the list is indeed endless. Keep 'them coming!

I love the way that Pepe just trundled up to me to take his syringe like such a good boy when he was on meds for several weeks. And I love the way they sniff the air when they are put on the floor for a run around.

Indy, I am with you all the way - the trust of a previously mishandled pig is priceless and rare :)
