Let's just put it all aside....

i love the way my boys can hear the fridge door open from two rooms away, and stand their begging, certain that every carrier bag that is rattled in the house MUST contain treats for them, after all who could be more important that the piggies xx>>>

LOL Becks your Rocky and Rolo even squeaked when Ken got the Mr Kipling cakes out cos the wrapping on the cakes rustles.x)

I love how Gilbert only responds to my voicerolleyes If anyone else in the house calls him, he doesn't come out, but once I call him, he comes running out, wheeking like mad:)) And i love how his mouth moves when he's eating. And i love how he'll do anything for food. And i love how the toes of Gilbert feels, so smooth and soft. i love how gilbert yawns. i love everything gilbert doesxoxoxoxox)x)

I may give sniffing one of them a go later, I'd never get away with sniffing Maggie she would beat me up (and you think i'm joking, the girl uses her front paws as hands to punch with) Ralfie- I'm sorry but i'm just not going there he sleeps with his head in poo corner. Bee would scream and make out i was murdering her. Panda smells of 'just for boars' because she gets bathed every 5 minutes and i've not got any lady shampoo :)) that leaves Bumble or Sephy to sniff, will let you know how it goes :) and whether they smell of biscuits or oxo cubes :)) strange how pigs have a smell, i sniff my rabbit all the time and he doesn't smell of anything i just get a nose full of fur! x

right, about each of my piggies in turn;

I love Pheobe as she's so much like a miniture puppy, leaping about and being a daydreaming piggie when she's at the food bowl, nothing can get her out of her little trances. Pure adorableness! I love it when she's being fiesty and swaying her bum and swaggering like she should be in the band oasis.

I love Ruby as she's so quiet but makes the others do exactly as she wants by just looking at them! I love her bossy nature. Her dominance over all, even me! I love it when she kisses my fingers and goes too far and starts nibbling x)

I love Bethany as although she's pretty quiet, she's gaining in confidence and has become strong buddies with Pheobe! I'm also so proud of her for being the first for using their ramp. I love the way she loves her tummy rubbed, but only when SHE wants it done!

I love Maggie-May for her cheeky face! The way she suddenly sticks her head up and wheeks like crazy just so you stop and look at her! I love the way she totally adores Ruby, she follows her around and lets Ruby groom her. I love the way she gazes at me when I get her out, such a look of love!

I love Sonny for the way he's such a charmer! He shouts for attention, then he runs and hides so you can't get to him, then when you finally get to get him, he smirks at you! I just adore how he seems to love all my girls, although Ruby and Maggie-May totally ignore him and Pheobe and Bethany fight over him! I just adore him for the way it was love at first sight between us.

This post made me laugh so much! WHY do our pigs sleep curled up on their pooing corner, why, why?!

Another thing I love - Boomer sleeps curled up in his log house with his head always propped up on one of the logs, fast asleep so soundly I have to poke him to make sure he's okay.

Yep it's true Julie! Also whenever they're doing something cute/funny that you want to ake a picture of they're surrounded by poo and therefore make out you never clean them! Ralfie sleeps curled up with his head touching his back legs :)) quite flexible for an old man! Funny how they all have different habits, before i got pigs i would never have thought they'd have such different personalities x

Yep your right about the poo thing. I left Tia and George playing out in the playpen for less than 24 hours on fleece so poo's very noticeable. Anyway Paul's friend came over and was peering in at them. I was like it looks like they have been in there for a week but it's only a days worth of poos. Honestly I clean them out loads.

Whenever anyone comes over it always starts with a discussion about poo. Started by me trying to defend myself but I'm probably making them notice something that they haven't previously. I swear my pigs must do about 40 poos per hour each :))

That's one thing about piggies I really like - every single one is such a huge personality. You are devastated when one leaves, and yet along comes another one that wiggles into your heart from a completely different angle...

I call mine "Stinky boys" but I love the way they smell. They smell like...Like...Guinea pigs!
They smell like fresh hay, fresh nuggets and slightly of pee all at once but it's their smell and I love it.

I love how the second I open their food container to give them fresh nuggets; they get all excited and start running laps.

I love how Arnold thinks to hide everywhere other than his pigloo. If I startle him or am trying to pull him out for a cuddle; He'll dart all over the place but he never seems to grasp the art of hiding inside his pigloo.

I love how Ralph teases me. I'll go to stroke him and he'll popcorn just out of my reach but when I decide to leave him alone, he wheeks and comes running to the side of the cage.
He's a funny boy. He loves to be chased but if you give up on him...He gets terribly upset and then comes charging at you for attention.

I like how they squeak a little chorus when they hear my voice, makes me feel wanted ^)

Yes, people don't believe me when I say they all have their own unique personalities, but it's true!

them, I know what you mean about the poo situation, it's also so true! It looks awful doesn't it, then I don't want to post the pic as I worry peopke may think I keep my piggies in minging conditions!

:)) that's what I'm like, people always ask to go look at the pigs so first thing out of my mouth is 'please excuse the poo, they do get cleaned but they poo so much!' That's another thing i notice when i'm cleaning, each pair's poo patterns are different :)) Bumble and Bee poo under the fixtures, they sit round under log bridges/pigloos and poo! Maggie and Sephy poo everywhere and anywhere whilst on the go so theirs are evenly spread around, and Panda and Ralfie have a poo corner where they tend to go :)) such lovely conversations we have! xx

I love everything about my girls... the way they hide but forget to hide their bottoms as well as their heads. I love the way crunchie licks my cheek. I love the way they race each other round their C & C house, and popcorn all over the place.
I adore the way they wheek at me so loudly at bed time for their supper and kiss good night
Claire

The wheeking is ace, isn't it?

Yeah them, I have SO many conversations about poo! It's how I imagine new mums are when they have babies, always talking about their kid's toilet habits!

My girl poo's more than the boys, but the boys are messer, I'm sure when no one is looking they throw it about :)):))

Ha, I watched my Dylan once take a poo bean in his mouth and casually just drop it in his food bowl! I wondered how they managed to get it in there, now I know it wasn't an accident!

I love the way my boys in the shed respond to me when I talk to them in a low voice through the mesh, they run over to me and start popcorning almost every time, it's lovely (even if it's probably cupboard love!) x)

Boys are terrible :))

Aww bless them, how many boys do you have?

xx

I love how each and every one of them has their own personality. I find it fascinating to watch the friendship groups amongst my larger groups of girls and how they definitely have friends they prefer to hang out with!

And the bestest thing ever is watching Poppet munching on food, after nearly a year of being syringe fed!

Aww Poppet bless her heart, i bet it fels you up with pride, like a proud mum watching your baby take their first steps xx

Millie, I have 8 boys :) we did have 12 at one point, but two pairs were fosters who are now happily in forever homes!

That's what my hubby likes about them most - there's always at least one bottom sticking out somewhere!

I have 6 girlies and I love that their squeeks are so different. Rosie is warbly she goes WheeeeeeoooWheeeeeeoooWheeeeeeooo. The new girlies, Kizzy and Lexi, have the highest pitched wheeks of the lot ^) Piggies are ace

I have only been a piggie mom since the 12 of July...but I already love them both so much...It feels as though I've had them forever. They are the first thing I go to when I wake up, when i come home from work and the last thing before bedtime. They have learned when food time is for sure! They hear that bag and immediately start wheeking...
"Me Mommy Me Me ME! I want some!" I can tell when its time to be put down...Molly will nibble on my chin...and Abby will start squealing like..."I have to go Weee Mommy...hurry, put me down!" They are getting so big now...they each gained 1.5 ounces in 3 days recently. (sorry, not sure what that is in grams!) Guess I'd better post their little tiny weights again :)

I love the way all my piggies come up to the edges of their hutches/runs to get their slice of cucumber as soon as I get home :)

Great thread :)

I love their noises the best - the little chug chug noise they make as they walk, the purring, the dweebing, the morning chorus in my shed... I love the way they recognise my voice. I love their conversation and the 'bloob bloob' kind of noise they make when they're busy

I'm a pig sniffer too!
