is lettuce good for one of the base vegies

As long as its one of the leafier ones and not iceberg. Iceberg has no nutritional value at all.

i use lettuce twice aweek,but not iceburg has little nutrition value,high water content which may cause diarrhea.

There is lots of useful information in the Guinea Pig Guides section at the top. Lettuce is ok, just not iceberg lettuce, which doesn't have enough nutrients, and can cause diarrhoea. Here's a link to the diet guide.

Lettuce should be fed only sparingly. As @Reenie has said please review the guides which give great advice and recommendations
