whats the best kind for them, I know iceburg is bad but is green leaf better then romaine, is red better then green leaf...etc

SunshineAndTwinkle said:Lettuce is a bit like chocolate is for us, but then so is Spinach, Watercress, Kale and cabbage. It's everything in moderation. If you feed cabbage in excess it will give them wind. Too much lettuce will give them upset tummy but they can still be fed it. I give round lettuce ones a week (hot house lettuce is the other name it goes by) When it's cheap enough I give Romaine (Cos) and Curly lettuce too.
I start with a base green and then give them another 4 veggies per serving, works for my herd.![]()
