Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a bit of advice on how best to treat a case of lice in my litter of baby pigs (they have visible white lice by their ears, which I've seen move).
I am having issues as they are only between 150 - 250 g, so I don't want to risk using something that could harm them.

I have called the vets but due to the current situation they are only available for a video consult at the start of next week!

Any advice in the meantime would be much appreciated.

Can you comb them out with a flea comb? Until the vets can suggest anything

I don't have a flea comb but I will go out and get one tomorrow.

Can you send them a video of the lice if possible? And they can maybe see them earlier?

The only other thing is to thoroughly clean their cage. How old are they, and are they still in with mum?

PS you say a litter, were you unexpectedly sold a pregnant piggy?
