Hey everyone,

I bathed the pigs on saturday and when i got to bathing Max i noticed ALOT of black bits and white stuff in the water, when looking closer(getting some of it on my hand) the black bits seemed to be moving. luckily i had some lice n easy so bathed both pigs with it straight away. i dont think they are the usual lice as i hadnt seen anything moving on them but after looking on the GG website it sounds like it may have been static lice, seems possible that they came in on the hay as there is no other may they could have got them. anyway, as i said i bathed them both but i cant for the life of me find the info sheet that came with the bottle(i got the shampoo last year so its possible its been thrown out somewhere along the way) just wondered if anyone knew how often it is i need to bath them to get rid of the lice? i seem to remember it being something like once a week for 2 or 3 weeks, doing two shampoos of it a time, that right?

Hi RTR I have just received a new bottle of lice and easy from Chrissie so have the instructions to hand! You need to bath the piggies giving them two shampoos, leave the second shampoo on for 5 mins before washing off. Dry piggies. A week later repeat the process and hopefully that should do the trick. Hope that helps.:)

I always advise exactly as you said, Ryo!

Even though the Lice n Easy shampoo contains conditioner, I did use extra conditioner on my semi-long-haired girl who was *covered* with static lice. Combed through using a regular nit comb at a few stages too.

Thankyou all, and that was lucky that you just got a bottle Caviesgalore:)) came in very handy for me! lol I'm glad its only one more bath i have to do and not two, neither boy likes having a bath, the only time ive seen a piggie jump is when i bath these two! Louis however thoroughly enjoys being dryed after, but Max cant stand any stage of it and just wants back on the floor or in his cage:))

Thanks again, knew id came to the right place to ask!:)
