Lice On 3 Month Old Guineas

Hey everyone i really appreciate if you could help me out on this but please could you advise me on guinea pig lice? well i have just gotten them and had started seeing something in their fur not too sure about what it was at first but a week or two later i realised it was lice so i was thinking about vets but i was thinking of rather treating them myself do you have any advice on what to use and how to get rid of them ? thanks

Please have your piggies seen and properly treated by a vet; a first consultation is often free or reduced. He will also give you the appropriate stuff for their age. Home treatment can be dangerous unless you know exactly what you are doing and have the necessary experience.

Where are your piggies from and how long have you exactly had them?
