Hi all,

My three piggies have had lice recently. Easily cured with a bath or two so they're lice-free now. The only problem is that 2 of them loathe having a bath, especially the nearly-4 year old. I don't like to stress them too much, so as a precaution for next time they get lice, is there any way of getting rid of lice without a bath? Does anyone know any good product which can be used to prevent lice in the summer (I'm sure they get them off the grass-probably off wildlife or something!) or that is in powder form ?

Thanks
Suzie

Gorgeous Guineas do a 'bugs be gone' powder which you could try if bathing them stresses them too much O0

Yup, bugs be gone is really good. I also use it in the summer and sprinkle it all over their bedding before I put the hay down as it helps to keep the nasties away and it is perfectly safe for piggies.

Great, I'll get some of that then....Sevi will be delighted!

Thanks
