I have just come home and I was stunned about how cheap it was this week! Some of these are not for piggies but still great for us :))

Loose red peppers just 20p each! I picked out some massive ones!
a Kg of carrots 50p
bag of italian style lettuce leaves 59p (quite large bag)
spring onions 29p
mangos 39p (and huge)
Abourgine 39p (sorry can't spell it)
Cucumber 50p

there's **** more things as well this is just what I bought! My piggies are going to be spoilt this week as I bought 8 peppers so they will be getting a large portion of peppers each day ! lucky monkies :))

i just went into my lidl tonight and got melon peppers mango nectaries and cucumber thinking that would be cheap but 65p at stafford one

OOH I need to try my lidl now!

Will head off there on the weekend to see if ours have anything like that. Always looking for bargains.

I kinda wish there was a Lidl near me now ha but alas there is not

Aldi has good deals this week also cucumber 29p, mango 29p, 6 pack tomoatoe 29p, celery 29p

I have started making a weekly tripto lidl and aldi to save on the veg cost - you can check out which veggies are on offer on their websites

I went to both today and got lots of bargains. Very pleased piggies!

I often think it is worth buying the human stuff at Tesco/Asda, and venturing out to Lidl/Aldi just for the pigs stuff! Alas, mine have expensive tastes - do Lidl/Aldi do coriander, parsley, and lots of lettuces?
