Hello all, I was wondering if this is anything serious. Trying not to panic, but I knew this would sort of happen and have been begging my dad to take the piggies to the vets. I know who has done this, and I've always known cos previous to this she'd be having odd weird ones.
Not to mention, I some of her odd poops have had a glossy slime casing that you can see if it's over a hole.
I would like to know what the holes mean, and if it's something to do with the bacteria in the gut. If it is something I should go to the vet for or I can do something about it, I would happily take note. But my mind is to definately go to the vets like, asap asap.
Thank you for reading :)
Context:
-My parents are sneaking in lettuce snacks for them, feeding them dried corn kettles without me knowing. Till NOW, when I asked them. (This furiates me)
-I've been feeding them as normal and in routine (What I feed daily: 1 lettuce each, 2 cucumber slices, 1 fine green bean stalk, 1 coriander, pepper slices green and sometimes yellow)
-I've been refilling their hay 3 times throughout the day to so they're stacked (Timothy Hay)
-I haven't seen them drink a lot lately coz I've been busy, not sure if they're hydrated but they do get vegetables, so I assume they're hydrated.
-They are behaving as you want to basically 😍 lovely piggies

The culprit of the poops might be stressed I assume, because my parents keep touching and trying to kiss them. I hate it.
I understand they love them, but when I tell them they can't do that, they just do, because they think I'm in the wrong.
I apologise if I'm being rude :'p, I love my parents a lot

Oh and to add just now: They were often fed pea flakes like 5 times a day I assume.
My other piggie's poop are also the same colour, but not to Tata's extent. I love them both, wish I could help out or do something.

I’m not sure if the problem is coming across on the pictures, as they look fairly normal to me?
If they were dark and squishy (diarrhoea like) then that would suggest too much veg. If it was mucus containing then a vet check would be a good idea.
Do you weigh them regularly? Are they losing weight at all?

The second picture with the holes looks a bit like one of the piggies has stood on it, rather than it having come out like that I think?

I was thinking that too like the holes may be nail prints? Those poops don't look too much a cause for concern. But any concerns a vet check is recommended, it can never do any harm to have regular vet checks and can often set your mind at rest to get an expert opinion, have their gut sounds listened to, their teeth checked etc.

Both are maintaining their weight (both around 1.1kg) no loss, but weirdly no gain

I did that :p it might seem disgusting, but it had a gaping hole and I squished it, and it felt soft, smelt like diarrhea

Have a vet check done just to be on the safe side. They don’t look too concerning, but if unexpectedly smelly you might just want to have a check.
Definitely ensure veg isn’t overfed though

I'm trying to persuade my parents SOOOO BAD, but they refuse to ever go. I know it might be expensive, I said, but if nothing is wrong we won't have to pay for anything.
Both piggies are 1 years old.

I've had the argument with them several times "why did you decide to take in a pet if you can't even take them to the vets?"

Well you still have to pay the consultation fee, but that's all

Are you sure the piggies hadn’t stood on it before you got to it?
You’ll still have to pay a consultation fee but your parents do have a legal responsibility for veterinary care.

I think I am sure. What if the holes weren't from claws? Is that anything more serious?

I have never come across poop with holes in, so I don’t know what would cause it. On the whole those those poops do look healthy - a good colour, shape and size, so this is a bit of an unknown. Normally you would see dark, or very soft, misshapen or diarrhoea type poops as a sign of a gut disruption but I’ve never seen them with holes in

Thank you for helping me on this. I think I'll see what their progress is like tomorrow. I've reduced veggies for today :p

As we have said above, only a vet can tell you. Holes may be gas like trapped bubbles of fart gas in soft squishy poops, but as @Piggies&buns says these would usually be larger darker very soft poops. To take to the vet or not is a tricky decision for some people, with limited money for vet bills, but generally on the forum we like to err on the side of caution and suggest any health concern is well worth a vet check. Certainly we would never advise to not visit the vet, but in this case I think you could wait a few days as long as food intake and poop output and weight and general demeanour appear healthy and stable.

Thank you very much for responding. I'll certainly keep an eye on both, especially Tata. I've learnt something from this.

how are the poos now.
what I do as others do also is put some money each week or when you can and have a piggie fund . . so when you do take them you show willing and course it helps

I'm not too sure, I'll have to wait until tomorrow coz it's night time here lol. That's a really good idea actually, I will start saving for them. Thank you :')
