Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone has any advice on indoor lighting... Our piggies are inside but will go outside in warmer months as we are in the UK...

We have them in our hall because its the only place that is big enough to hold the lenght of their cage, there is a small window but they are far away from it... I have a desk lamp set up for extra light for them but am just wondering what hours I should have it on?

They don't seem to like the light because when I turn it off that's when they would try to attempt to come out and talk to each other and case each other etc..... They don't come out at all during the day.... They have been here nearly a month now... How would I get them to come out more during the day?

I’m not sure about lighting. Mine were in the dining where there’s quite a lot of natural light. Is there much in the hallway or is it quite dim? Someone did ask about this a while ago so perhaps do a search for it...

No the hallway is very big but only as one small window and I didn't want to put them beside the window because there is a radiator there...

You can put them there and switch off the radiator, as long as it wouldn’t be too cold in there. Another option is to drape a blanket on one side of the cage.
