Odd question ... do you leave the lights on at night for your piggies ?

I always say goodnight to them & turn all lights off. They’re pretty good & know our routine so they’re all tucked up in cozy’s anyway! ( I know they wont sleep through the night but it is cute) XX

The boys have a little night light near their main water bottles so they can find them - not that it matters to Binky who can't see anything anyway - but I think it helps Errol!

Mine are outside piggies and so at night it is dark and during the day it is light!

Lights off here too. I though piggies could see fairly well in the dark?

Mine get whatever natural light is about. If it’s dark outside, it’s dark in their room. I do turn the lights on when I clean out/feed etc after dark!

Lights off here too. They do get a little light filter through the curtains from a street light down the road though.

!ights off for all of us at night, dogs, guinea pigs and hamsters. The guinea pigs have the curtains left open so that they can get as much daylight as possible.

Ok thanks for the helpful input. I have the curtains open so during the day they have plenty of light, around 4:30 pm or so I do turn on the light in the room or I have the lights on that are around the top of the cage which are just a soft white lights. Starting last night I did turn everything off and said good night to the girls. They seemed to do just fine. This morning they were already up and eating

Lights off, but i leave blind in room open so get a little moonlight! They seem happy with that!xxxxx
