After finding some blood in poor Lily's wee we took her to the vets today, they prescribed 0.3ml loxicom once a day and 0.2ml twice a day of sulfatrim. Do we need to give any probiotic?

Probiotic certainly won't hurt. But please leave an hour between the antibiotic and probiotic. Poor Lily. I hope she feels better soon.

Yes, a couple of pinches on her veg twice a day is fine if she will eat it or alternatively you can syringe her some mixed with water

Also, do I need to cut the tip off the syringe and which part of the plunger needs to be lined up with the measurement, the bit nearesto the handle or to the end bit?

I've never cut the syringe for giving antibiotics and probiotics if using a 1ml

You only need to cut the tip off for syringe feeding.
